The injured man was struck at about 4:30 pm yesterday near the busy Roxbury intersection. He was trasported to Boston Medical Center with “life threatening injuries,” police spokesman James Kenneally said.
According to the Boston Herald news report, the motorist has not been cited.
Neither the name of the driver nor the victim have been released to the public.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
