Teen Girl Injured in Route 3 Crash

A 14-year-old girl suffered serious injury in a Thursday morning car crash on Route 3 north in Rockland, MA, the Boston Herald reported.

The injured girl was airlifted by a medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Boston.

No more details were available regarding this accident.

A second accident occurred near Route 228 in which three other people were injured. The single-car accident involved a 2002 Subaru Forester driven by Lane Davy, 41, of Kingston.

Davy and two teenage girls were taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for treatment of their injuries sustained in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
