Methuen Man Dies in Route 110 Car Accident

Michael Croshaw, 55, of Methuen was killed yesterday afternoon when the car he was driving went off of the road and then collided with a tree.

At about 1:30pm, Croshaw was going east on Lowell Street (Route 110) in Methuen near the General Truck Center when his 2007 Honda Civic crashed.

The Methuen Police Department is continuing to look into the cause of the accident.  It was reported that there were no skid marks leading up to the tragic crash.  Authorities involved with the case stated that the autopsy will hopefully reveal if a health issue or emergency occurred that led to Croshaw leaving the roadway.

First responders used hydraulic gear to try and save Croshaw from the accident.  After he was taken from the car, he was transported to an area hospital where he was eventually pronounced dead.
