Driver Identified in Fatal Marshfield Crash

Paul Gendreau, 46, of Marshfield has been named as the driver who was killed in a head-on collision with a fuel truck in Marshfield this past Saturday. According to The Patriot Ledger, Gendreau’s vehicle crashed into the truck on Plaint Street that evening around 6:00pm. The operator of the fuel truck suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident and has not been officially identified.

Authorities have reported that Gendreau’s car went over the double yellow lines into the oncoming lane of travel and collided head-on with the fuel truck. No passengers were in either the car or the truck and no additional cars were involved in the deadly crash. The investigation is ongoing in determining the cause of the tragic accident.
