Fall River Driver Arrested for DWI in Bedford Crash

David Lamond, 55, of Fall River faces charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI) following a 3-vehicle crash in Bedford last Friday evening. According to The Bedford Journal, Lamond crashed his Jeep Liberty into 2 other vehicles, a Hyundai Elantra and Honda Odyssey, at about 8:00pm that night near the intersection of Route 114 and Route 101.

When police arrived to the scene of the crash, officers noted that Lamond smelled of alcohol and concluded that he was driving drunk. It was reported that none of the drivers or passengers were injured in the multi-vehicle accident. Lamond has since been released on $1,000 bail and is due in Merrimack District Court later this month.
