Taxi Goes Off Storrow Drive into Pond

An unidentified taxi driver somehow lost control of his Ford Crown Victoria on Storrow Drive in Boston yesterday morning and slid down an embankment into a pond of the Muddy River. According to The Boston Globe, the cab was owned by Hazira Cab Company based in Brookline. It was not determined if there were any occupants in the taxi besides the driver, who was not injured in the accident. The incident happened off Storrow Drive heading west near the Charlesgate Overpass. Authorities worked to remove the vehicle from the water and continue their investigation of the single vehicle accident.
