A 17-year-old boy was killed this past Monday night when his car crashed into a tree in Newton. The teenager, Adam London, had to be taken from the car by emergency personnel using the Jaws of Life. Neighbors said that they were not able to open any of the car doors to help get him out. The fatal one-car accident happened on Bellevue Street just before 10:00pm that night, leaving those who knew London in a state of shock.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
London was set to begin his senior year at Newton North High School, which was opened earlier than scheduled this week for students to gather and grieve together.
