A two-car crash in Agawam this past Sunday afternoon resulted in hospital trips for all four people involved.
The driver of one of the cars, 86-year-old Paul Morin, was listed in critical condition at Baystate Medical Center. 20-year-old Mikhail Adzhigirey was the driver of the other car that collided with Morin's car on Suffield Street. Adzhigirey and his two passengers were also treated at Baystate. Morin had to be taken out of his car with the Jaws of Life.
While the accident continues to be under investigation by local and state authorities, speed was cited as a contributing factor. The road had to be shut down for several hours to clear the scene.
