This Friday 13 started off on a somber note with the news of two fatal car accidents.
In the first one, a 23-year-old woman from Franklin, Mass. was killed on I-495 in Westford early this morning as she was walking in the high-speed lane on the interstate - she got struck by at least one car and died around 4 am this morning.
The unnamed woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet clear why she was walking in the fastest lane of 495. What was she doing there?
Police are still searching for the answers. No charges have been filed yet.
Another fatal accident occurred on Route 24 South in Randolph. A yet-unnamed person died in the SUV rollover.
There is no word on the causes behind that accident either.
