A tragic motorcycle/SUV collision last night claimed the life of a 25-year-old Lawrence motorcyclist.
According to police, the victim, Johnny Guillermo, wasn't licensed to drive the Yamaha motorcycle he had borrowed from a friend.
It is not clear if Guillermo was an experienced biker or not. It is also not known what caused him to lose control of the motorcycle on Marston Street in Lawrence. In one fatal moment, Guillermo crashed the bike into the opposite lane and into an oncoming SUV.
He was airlifted by medical helicopter to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston where he died from his injuries about two hours after the accident.
Police are investigating the cause of this fatal motorcycle accident.
