The man, David Moore, 41, of Chelmsford, Mass. was travelling in his pickup truck on on Lily Pond Road in Gilford, NH, when he lost control over the vehicle, went off the road and crashed into a concrete structure rolling over and landing on its roof.
Moore was trapped inside the truck and unresponsive, so rescue workers used the Jaws Of Life get him out. According to officials, the truck was greatly damaged in the crash.
Moore was first taken to Lakes Region General Hospital and then flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with serious injuries.
It is not yet clear what caused the accident.
