2 Mass. Women Injured in School Bus Crash

Two Massachusetts women were injured in a bus-car collision in Lebannon, ME.

Maine police were looking for a school bus with front end damage sustained after the bus driver hit a car on Monday around noon.

News reports said the school bus rear-ended the car on the Carl Broggi Highway, pushing it off the road. Instead of stopping, the bus driver fled the scene of the accident.
Two women from Massachusetts who were in the struck car at the time suffered minor injuries.

The bus in question may have been retired, police said, since the school department did not operate buses in the area at the time.

Anyone with information regarding this accident is asked to come forth.
