Attleboro Teen Killed in Bike Crash

A teenager's life was lost in a Friday morning motorcycle accident in Attleboro when he crashed his motorcycle into a mailbox and possibly a car on his way to school.

Police said Myles Brastow, 18, was traveling on a motorcycle to Attleboro High School on Thurber Avenue toward Oakhill Avenue, while a car was coming out of Chapel Hill Drive at the same time.

The driver of the car, a 21-year-old woman, was not injured in the crash. Her name is yet to be released by police.

Brastow suffered fatal injuries, and even though he was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Brastow was wearing a helmet, police said.

This is the third fatal accident involving an Attleboro High School student in the last three years.
