Lowell Man Killed in Manchester Crash

One of the four men who got killed in a tragic car accident in Manchester, NH, over the weekend was the 25-year-old Jesse Pena from Lowell, MA.

The other victims are Jeffrey Levesque, 24, and Alex DeFreitas, 24, of Londonderry; and Chase Abreu, 25, of Pelham.

The four died as their car, a 2006 Toyota Scion, went off I-93 at least 100 feet and into the median.

Police said skid marks leading into the woods were clearly visible at the crash site at the I-93 and Rt-293 split, but the car was not visible to traffic.

The victims were reported missing by their families on Saturday, police said. According to a family member of one of the victims, the group was last seen at a Manchester bar early Saturday morning.

Family and friends went searching for the men on Saturday. On Sunday a family friend saw the skid marks, found their car which had gone down a steep embankment and crashed into trees, and called the police.

All men inside were pronounced dead at the scene.

We offer our sincerest condolences to the families of the four young men who died in the crash.
