Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Bus in Boston

A woman was struck and fatally injured by a shuttle bus this morning as she was crossing the intersection of Ruggles Street and Huntington Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts. The woman, about 30 years old, is not yet named by the authorities.

The accident occurred at 8:49 am near the Wentworth Institute of Technology and Longwood Medical Area.


The victim was rushed to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she died from her injuries sustained in the crash.

According to witness accounts to the police, the woman was caught under the bus.
