Fatal 128 Accident Claims Life of Lincoln Woman

Faye Goldberg-Scheff, 53, of Lincoln died Saturday in a fatal weekend car accident on Route 128 when her Subaru was struck by another car driven by Neil Connolly, 44, of Boston.

Connolly reportedly lost control of his Lexus on 128 around 3:00pm when he veered into another lane and rolled over, striking Goldberg-Scheff’s car, which then caused her to hit a Jeep Cherokee driven by Raymond Birch, 49, of Kingston, NH.  Birch was rushed to a Boston hospital with serious injuries.

Connolly was transported to a Boston hospital as well, but left before police were able to question him about the deadly crash.  Connolly, however, voluntarily went to the State Police barracks in Concord Sunday night to speak with police about the accident.  As of yet, no charges have been brought against Connolly.  Police are continuing to look into the cause of the crash.
