Icy Roads Caused Fatal Holyoke Crash

Peter Perreault, 53, was killed this past Saturday night when the car that he was driving veered into the opposite lane of travel on Route 202 in Holyoke and was hit by an oncoming car along the passenger side of his car.

Emergency workers responded to the scene and rushed Perreault to a local hospital.  He was pronounced dead some time later.  The second driver involved in the fatal crash was taken to another hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  Ice on the roadway is being named as the cause of the tragic crash.
