Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured in Lowell

According to The Lowell Sun, an unidentified 41-year-old man from Lowell was struck by a minivan Monday evening just after 7:00 p.m. on School Street in Lowell. Authorities responded to a call that a man was seen wandering in and out of traffic and discovered the man unconscious in the road. Police have reported that the driver of the green minivan is a 44-year-old but have also not publicly released the driver’s name. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the pedestrian accident. Officials have not pressed charges against the operator of the vehicle at this time.
