Driver Suffers Medical Emergency, Crashes in Hyannis Accident

The Cape Cod Times has reported that a driver in Hyannis suffered a medical emergency while traveling on Attucks Lane.

The man, who is reportedly in his 60s, left the roadway due to the medical incident and drove into the woods before crashing his vehicle at about 3:00 p.m. that afternoon. The accident occurred in the area of Hathaway Pond and the Hyannis Golf Course according to authorities, whose investigation into the crash is continuing.

Officials have reported that the driver was transported to a local hospital following the accident. He was listed in critical condition as a result of his medical emergency, which has not yet been disclosed by authorities.
