Jeep Crashes Into Bridgewater Home

A Jeep, driven by Daniel Graham, 29, of Bridgewater, crashed into a South Street house yard on Saturday.

The accident occurred as Graham, driving southbound on South Street about 7pm, lost control of the Jeep and struck a pole. The crash sent the vehicle rolling over a few times before landing wheels-up in a shallow side yard next to a house.

A 12-year-old girl, Sam Walsh, was in the house at the time, along with her younger brother. The girl was upstairs when she heard the wreck. Her 7-year-old brother, Luke Walsh, was in the living room.

Outside, just feet away, was the overturned Jeep.

Sam saw the car and the injured drive and used her cell phone to dial 911.

Graham, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered serious injuries to his upper body and face in the crash. He was flown to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and was listed in a good condition yesterday.

The crash is still under investigation.
