Fatal Drunk Driving Accident in Andover
Last weekend marked a series of tragic accidents in Massachusetts, some of which were caused by the inclement weather conditions, others by human errors in judgment resulting in drunken driving. The notorious DUI accident, mentioned above, happened on Sunday.

Ray, from the Bradford section of Haverhill (the same as Bryant), was on her way to her vehicle in front of the barracks on Route 125, when the pickup truck operated by Bryant struck her and continued to drive into her parked vehicle with her mother on the passenger seat.

Bryant was arrested and charged with motor vehicle homicide under the influence of alcohol, while Ray was found unconscious on the road and rushed to a Boston hospital. She died Sunday night from her injuries sustained in the accident.

Fatal Two-Car Accident in Walpole
Ashley Valente died over the weekend following a 2-car accident on Route 95 in Walpole. The 20-year-old of Wilmington was traveling north on Rte 95 on Saturday when she rear-ended another vehicle which was also going northbound.

Valente’s vehicle went off the road, rolled over and struck a tree. The impact sent Valente, who was not wearing a seatbelt, flying from the vehicle. She suffered fatal injury and pronounced dead at the scene.

Kayla Tolentino of Boston, another 20-year-old woman, was traveling as a passenger, was injured in the crash and transported to a hospital.

The other driver, Russell Agrusa, 57, of Westwood, was not injured, and neither was her passenger, Paula Agrusa, 53, also of Westwood.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated.

It is not yet clear why Morawski was going the wrong way on 91.

Minor Auto Accidents in Waltham
A few other minor accidents occurred in Massachusetts in the last few days, mostly due to icy weather and slippery roads. Several motor vehicle accidents involved cars steering off the highway into the median along Route 20 in Waltham, police said.

Waltham residents were advised to stay at home on Monday after conditions grew so bad that icing caused 15 accidents, including a 6-car accident on Route 128. A tractor trailer accident was also reported on the rotary at Rt 20. Luckily, no one was seriously injured in the accidents.
