Lowell Teen Dies in Fatal Danvers Crash

Nathaniel Holscher, 18, of Lowell was killed in a car accident on Route 128 in Danvers early Sunday morning just after 12:00am.  He reportedly lost control of the Volvo station wagon he was driving and was ejected from the Volvo when it rolled over near Exit 22 on the southbound side.

Holscher was airlifted to Beverly Hospital for emergency treatment but was later pronounced dead.  Police involved with the fatal crash are looking into whether speed played a part in the tragic accident and if Holscher was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.  There were no other vehicles affected by the accident.  The highway was shut down for nearly two hours following the crash while officials conducted an investigation of the scene.
