Fatal Route 3 Accident in Pembroke Claims Life of Marshfield Driver

John “Jack” Barisano, 62, of Marshfield died Monday in a one vehicle crash during that morning’s commute.  He was on his way to work around 6:30am when the Town of Needham work truck that he was driving crashed into the guardrail on the left side of Route 3 in Pembroke and proceeded to roll over, coming to a rest on the median near Exit 12.  Barisano had been thrown from the truck during the crash.

Barisano was taken to a local hospital, where he died.  The fatal crash resulted in the left lane of Route 3 north to be shut down for close to two hours in order to allow officials to investigate the scene and determine just how the crash occurred.  Barisano was an employee of the Department of Public Works with the Town of Needham for 12 years.
